About the logo
The logo represents the most simple complex system: one which may evolve in one of two states (a path splitting in two). The mangrove forest being the main ecosystem studied in the research unit of Systems Ecology and Resource Management, the logo also represents a mangrove root. The colours follow the ULB layout style. Below, the logo can be downloaded in a poster version, or in two letterhead versions, each available in two languages.
